MineFight – Online Strategy Game
MineFight is a 21st century-themed strategy game. The objective in the game is to
overtop rivals in economic, political and military terms, by using the limited resources
in the best manner. The most important distinctive characteristic of MineFight is
its closeness to today’s reality.
Information contained in this guide is basic information of the game; you can learn
all of the details by playing and by asking to masters.
Starting the Game
The game is started with a certain amount of mine. Mine means power. Thus, increasing
your mines by invasion or production will also increase your power, leading you
to overtop rivals.
Generally, metal is used for land forces; oil is used for air forces; and thorium
is used for advanced researches. And gold is a mine used by alliances, which increases
as kept more by player in its city.
First of all, we set our strategy, depending on period of time in which we are online.
While those who have a long online time may adopt a more attacking game manner,
those who log in less should focus on defense strategies and investments. While
plundering can be the biggest income for attacking players, defense strategy depends
completely on long-term mining plans.
The bottom line is to focus on searching short and long-term returns of a unit or
building to which investment has been made. Adopting an action which can bring a
precise return in long-term or a high return in short-term must be the track a strategist
follows.
STRATEGY MENU
In the strategy menu, you can manage cities and troops in bird’s-eye-view. If you
click on a city or unit, you see what you can do regarding that coordinate, in the
ellipse menu. In the map, there are borders around each city; this is your alliance’s
border. As building levels increases, borders around your cities expand.
In left-bottom side of your cities, there are colored points. These are:
-Blue color: Your own cities
-Green color: Cities of your allies
-Orange color: Players who are noobs (which you cannot attack) to you or players
to which you are noobs (which cannot attack you)
-Red color: It shows players with which you can get involved in conflict.
Map button in the strategy map shows the map of the world in which you are located.
Pointer
displays explanations of the icons. Fog button shadows the areas not seen by your
radars and satellites. Found button enables you to establish a new city. To be able
to establish a new city, you need an area with the same color as the one in your
own border, namely the same color as your alliance.
WAR MENU
It is the menu in which every kind of operation can be initiated. Plus, you can
repair your damaged troops. By using the simulator, you can obtain an estimated
war results before getting involved in conflict, by writing down your researches,
or researches of your rivals. In the simulator, one time result is obtained. To
be able to ensure a reliable calculation, several battles can be averaged by spending
madenyum.
In security information section, you can see the troops of other players in the
city you are situated. Moreover, mass attacks you will conduct along with your allies
are also displayed in this menu.
By using NBC, you can damage or even destroy cities and armies of your rivals. Here
you can launch the NBCs you produce from factory and you can activate your shields.
AGENT MENU
Agents are used to obtain information from cities of other players. You can generate
and direct these agents from operations section. Through the agents, in exchange
for some certain amount of gold, you can obtain information regarding stock status
of that city, its building levels, units in the city, NBCs in the city and researches
of the city owner.
LOGISTICS MENU
It is the area in which you can see the amounts of materials sent to your cities
or from your cities, their arrival times. You can also transport mines between your
cities.
In the market section, you can trade mine between other players. Here, you can exchange
surplus amount of mine you have with other mines. Mines you purchase from the market
arrive at your city in a certain time, depending on hydrogen battery level.
In the stock market, you can convert distinct mines into gold and purchase different
mines. To be able to use the stock market, your Bank level in the Construction Menu
must be 8 or over.
In the resource planning section, you can congregate all of your mines in a single
city. In the offer market, you can also offer gold for materials purchasable by
madenyum or by gift-giving.
ALLIANCE MENU
In MineFight, acting as alliance is significant. You can unite with other players
in the game and form alliance. When you form an alliance, you can deploy soldiers
to the cities of your allies and you can send them enforcements. In the map, on
the top right of the cities of ally players, there is a blue mark. Each alliance
has a safe, and the amount in this safe increases depending on largeness of the
borders of the alliance. To the alliance, members can be enrolled as many as half
of the total information centers of founder and authorities; and the upper limit
is 80. As the information center at the beginning of the game is 0, the rule of
information center is valid until the number of them in the alliance is 10.
Features of authorities in the alliance:
Founder: Person who founds the alliance. He is the one who enrolls the members and
supervises the alliance safe. He also has all of the authorities owned by other
officials.
General: He can see all of the stationary troops of the alliance. He can set the
mass attack coordinate and he can send the troops congregated in this coordinate
to mass attack.
Minister of Economy: He can see the stock status in the cities of the alliance players.
Minister of Internal Affairs: He can see who is online in the alliance.
Minister of Foreign Affairs: Minister of Foreign Affairs does not differ from other
players. He can be authorized by the alliance to be responsible for forum spokesman
and for relationships with other alliances.
Establishing a New City:
You can establish cities as many as your HUMAN RIGHTS research; and to establish
a city, 1.000.000 metals, 1.000.000 petrol and 500.000 thorium are required. After
getting those ready, click on an empty area in the strategy map and click on “establish”
button.
How to Form Defense and Army:
The most 3 important elements of the war system of the game are number, speed and
type of the units. These are the elements that enable you to win war. Even if the
unit diversity is ignored, it is very important. It is because every unit has a
weak side; and their weak sides are complemented when they act as a group. In battles,
some units fire for twice, while other units fire for once in each level. The more
they are, the more enemy units they shoot; and the faster they are, the sooner than
the enemy they shoot.
The defense is composed of 4 branches. Land, air, cruise missile and NBC defense.
If one of those is weak, your city can be invaded without difficulty. However, your
defense units also change, depending on the reason for your defense formation. For
example, if you are a player who maintains vast amount of mines in city, you should
form a defense stronger than it should be regularly.
In the game, there are 2 types of army. Land and air. Land armies are always open
to attack from air. For this reason, in your city, you should keep a great deal
of anti-aircraft, the nightmare of air units. Moreover, anti-aircrafts are also
quite effective against land units. While forming a land force, it is the best to
always keep more of the cheapest units, namely the infantries. Because, enemy infantries
generally fire at the units high in number and if you increase the number of infantries,
they will be more likely to shoot at infantries and in this manner they will shoot
our ineffective unit. If you use air force, then it is the sharp end of it. The
reason for this is that aircrafts are quite weak when they are on the ground. If
you attack a strayed 5k fighter plane with 7k infantry and 4k helicopter, you can
hit that 5k plane without incurring much damage. And considering that you will have
a damaged fighter plane, it will be a profitable battle. In that case, if you use
air force, you should either definitely keep planes in a city with a firm land defense,
belonging to a member of your alliance, or you should attach great importance to
our own land defense. The best feature of using air force is that mobile units except
for meka cannot do anything against air attacks of land defense units (shelter,
artillery).
We can protect ourselves with energy shield against only the hydrogen and nuclear
bomb out of the NBCs. And against the cruise missiles, we can defend with missile
shield. However, as the usage of cruise missile decreases during the game, we should
not exaggerate the defense against cruise missile.
Special unit: Special unit is type of a unit, generated only by players who own
PowerPack. You can pick the special unit as any land or air unit you want. As you
generate these units, their costs decrease depending on the amount of special units
you possess. Plus, they have unique researches. By these researches, the special
unit you select gets stronger than the normal. You can choose name, picture and
symbol of this unit by yourself. It is useful to think deeply while choosing special
unit, as all special units and researches would be reset if you wanted to change
it. Another advantage of special unit is that they do not change hands as damaged
in battles.
Elite unit: Troops well trained in academy and specialized in their field can seriously
change the course of a battle. They have much experience, as they have undergone
many battles. They are stronger than the regular units.
Noob Protection:
Noob protection is a system, containing all active and inactive players and balancing
the competition among players. According to this system, a player can attack only
players with one quarter or quadruple strength and receive attacks from these players
only. Example: Your point is 100. 100 x 4 = 400 and 100 / 4 = 25; that means you
can get involved in conflict with players with points between 25 and 400. You cannot
attack the other ones, neither can they attack you.
To make it easy for you in the map, there are colored circles in bottom left of
the cities. These circles will help you greatly in the game. If this circle is green,
it means your ally friend; if it is orange, it means player who has noob against
you; if it is red, it means player whom you can attack.
The noob system is in effect for direct attacks between two players. In a city under
invasion the noob status of only between the player under invasion and the attacking
player is analyzed. In open field, the noob system is not active.
City Invasion and Plunder:
One of the sources of income in the game is the mines we grab from the cities of
other players. To be able to plunder, the city must be invaded with soldiers in
the same number as the total of building levels. Plunder amount is ⅓ of the raw
materials located in the city. That means you can grab ⅓ of it when you plunder.
If you plunder once again within a few hours, you get ⅓ of it again.
As for the invasion, it means capturing the administration of city and staying in
the city for a while. During the period in which you stay in a city, you get ⅓ of
that city’s production.
In the beginnings of the game, it is not that hard to invade a city; however, as
the time passes, defenses get stronger and invasions become harder to do. To eliminate
these defenses, you must attack depending on the defense. For example, if there
are 20k artillery and 500 anti-aircrafts, it would be harmful to attack directly
from land. By reducing the number of anti-aircrafts through cruise missiles and
attacking from air, the defense can be destroyed with suffering the least damage.
Bases:
They are located in certain areas in the map. Alliances conquering the base can
conduct researches here. The research affects the whole alliance. Minister of Economy
directs the researches. The researches do not have a cost; however they take long
time. Moreover, each conquered base increases the gold income of the alliance by
50%. Planes can be deployed in bases. The bases cannot be hit by NBC.
Mass Attack:
In mass attacks directed by general or alliance founder, several players can simultaneously
attack the same coordinate. None of the attacking players must have noob. No damage
unit comes out. No invasion takes place. No plunder takes place. It can have two
types; either as land, or as air operation.
Communication with Oper:
Each world has a different Oper. The Oper controls whether players violate the game
rules or not; assesses the incoming complaints; and he can give penalty to players
when necessary, and he can also carry out investigation of players.
Player about whom an investigation is under way can continue the game; his/her current
building construction, unit generations and researches continue; if he/she has a
troop movement, it also continues; however, that player cannot order to construct
a new building or to a new research or for a new troop movement. The player, during
the investigation, can suffer attack, receive support, conduct trade and can use
messaging.
Why is an investigation carried out about a player? If the player plays the game
in violation of the game rules, an investigation can be carried out about that player.
Investigation is not a penalty; however, its period of time changes depending on
player behavior and also on how he/she performed what he/she had to do.
What should the player under investigation do? Every player knows what he/she does;
and it is regarded that every player knows the game rules. Any sentence such as
“I did not know it was a violation” will have no effect. After the player gets under
the investigation, he/should compensate for the rule violations. If the player has
more than 1 account, he/she should erase those; he/she report to the Oper regarding
the accounts he/she erased; he/she should write that he/she will return the materials
obtained through unfair trade; in a nutshell, he/she should write to the Oper regarding
what he/she have done, what he/she will do or his/her defense and wait for a response.
After writing message to the Oper, the message should not be written for multiple
times, causing the message box to be filled. The Oper reads messages by everybody.
Besides, it should not be expected that the Oper is online for 24/7.
If a player sends you a message which violates the rules, you can forward it to
the Oper by clicking on the “report” button on the right side of the message. Necessary
procedure will be executed, after the Oper sees it.
Masters
Masters are chosen among the players, who have reached the highest points in the
game. Master has 2 duties. First of it is to answer the questions by players. Secondly,
when he/she sees a message against the rules, he/she must intervene in it immediately
and suspend for temporary period that players write message, in order to prevent
repeated violating messages. All activities by masters are checked by the Oper.
Oper can discharge any master he deems inappropriate.
Noah’s Ark
Alliance completing the Noah’s Ark wins that world, and the world is closed. The
Ark is completed by investing metal to it; metal investment completes 0.01% of the
Ark and research and building are required to invest mine to the Ark. Players investing
mine to the Ark also get points from the mines which they invest. While completing
the Ark, it should be noted that if any of the cities belonging to the members of
the alliance constructing the Ark is invaded, the Ark percentage is reduced by 0.01%
and if any nuclear or hydrogen bomb explodes in their cities, it will reduce by
0.03% and 0.10%.
